Lunch presentation to feature Bonsai Design owner

A free presentation scheduled for May 3 in Grand Junction will feature one of the owners of an adventure course and zipline company.

The entrepreneurs lunch and learn session is set for 11:30 a.m. at the Factory coworking space at 750 Main St. Participants should bring their own lunches.

Sarah Shrader, chief administrative officer and co-owner of Bonsai Design, will talk about the company.

Bonsai Design designs, builds and installs adventure courses and ziplines around the world.

The company recently entered into negotiations with the City of Grand Junction over incentives to make the company the anchor tenant of a new business park proposed for south of downtown. The owners of Bonsai Design expect to invest $2 million in new facilities at the site and hire 15 additional employees to bring its staff up to 50.

Bonsai Design is among three Grnad Junction firms selected as finalists in the Colorado Companies to Watch Program honoring fast-growing businesses in the state.
