Major Mortgage hosts online benefit auction
Major Mortgage in Grand Junction will host an online auction through 5 p.m. May 17 to raise money for a program that provides food to hungry school children.
The auction will include two, four-day general admission tickets and a campsite for the upcoming Country Jam country music festival scheduled for June 20 to 23 in the Grand Valley.
Bidders can participate by logging on to the website located at www.32auctions.com/majormortgage. Proceeds will go to the Kids Aid backpack assistance program.
“Our family has been blessed by this community, and we are always trying to do our part to give back,” said Ryar Hayward, president of Major Mortgage.
“We are looking forward to this auction and have plans to auction off even more Country Jam fun before the music event kicks off on June 20,” Hayward added.
The Kids Aid program provides food-filled backpacks on Fridays to Mesa County School District 51 students who otherwise would go hungry over the weekends.
“We are grateful for Major Mortgage’s efforts and contributions to our cause,” said Mike Berry, executive director of Kids Aid.
