Manager assumes leadership role with real estate council
Michael Burkhard, sales manager at Bray Real Estate in Grand Junction, has been sworn in as first vice president of the board of directors of the Council for Certified Residential Specialists.
The council trains real estate professionals and offers the CRS designation. Burkhard has served as a part of the council leadership team since 2011, when he was Colorado president. “I am involved with the Council of Residential Specialists because their mission statement is aligned with my thoughts on what makes an excellent real estate agent,” he said. “In my opinion, the agents that have earned the CRS designation are the cream of the crop.”
Robert Bray, chief executive officer of Bray Real Estate, praised Burkhard for his involvement. “We are so proud that Mike is in line to be president of CRS in a couple of years and know that he is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience with other Realtors and will definitely contribute to strengthening the direction of this world-class organization.”
