Mental health group hires new CFO
Matthew Tulin has been hired as chief financial officer for Mind Springs Health, an organization that provides mental health, substance abuse and wellness treatment in Western Colorado, including Mesa County.
Tulin is responsible for financial planning, revenue cycle management and reporting.
A certified public accountant, Tulin brings to his new role more than 20 years of experience in health care finance and operations. He’s served as CFO for multiple-hospital health care systems in four states. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Alaska.
“I am enthused about this opportunity as well as collaborating with our health partners and community leaders,” Tulin said.
“We’re very excited to have Matt join our team,” said Sharon Raggio, president and chief executive officer of Mind Springs Health.
“Not only does he bring with him great CFO experience from large health care systems, he is also community-minded and has a passion for our mission. We know we will be an asset and look forward to the strengths he brings,” Raggio said.
