Montrose KOA earns national recognition

The Montrose-Black Canyon National Park KOA Campground has earned recognition for customer service and quality.

The campground received the President’s and Founder’s Awards at the Kampgrounds of America convention in Austin, Texas. The awards are presented to campgrounds that earn the highest scores in customer service and annual quality reviews.

“Everything we do at KOA is centered on providing the best possible camping experience to our millions of guests each year,” said KOA President Pat Hittmeier. “We have wonderful owners, managers and staff working on their parks every day to provide that great experience and listening closely to the desires of their campers. I’m so proud to be able to recognize that effort with our KOA President’s and Founder’s Awards.”

The Montrose-Black Canyon National Park KOA Campground  is located at 200 Cedar Ave. For more information, visit the website at
