Movement center plans open house at new location

The Movement Therapies Wellness and Education Center in Grand Junction has scheduled an open house at its new location.

The event is set for 4:30 to 10:30 p.m. Feb. 24 at 201 W. Park Drive, upstairs in  the building housing Colorado Injury and Pain Specialists.

The open house will offer a chance to meet staff and instructors and learn about the programs and classes offered there. A dance set to start at 7:30 p.m. will offer a variety of music so participants can dance with or without partners.

The Movement Therapies Wellness and Education Center offers classes and training in movement education, postural foundation, women’s health and yoga.

Analii Cunningham founded the center and has developed an alliance of professionals who offer instruction. The group includes Monica Cullinane from the Academy of Yoga as well as Deb Allerton, Christin Coburn, Karin Denny, Al Kreinberg, Sarah Hutchkinson, Tom Lynch and Carol Welch.
