New business offers new approach to eye care and eyewear

A new Grand Junction business will offer a different approach to eye care and eyewear in specializing in providing exams to patients along with assistance in ordering glasses online.

GJ Eyebar is set to open April 24 at 2695 Patterson Road, Suite 6A.

As part of a grand opening celebration, GJ Eyebar will host a ribbon cutting event with the Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce set for 4 p.m. May 18. Visitors will be able to tour the offices and ask questions.

Michael Reeder and Gary Quarnberg said they opened GJ Eyebar to help patients obtain quality eye exams while maintaining the freedom to order glasses online.

“Patients always tell me they want to order their classes online, but they don’t know how to properly enter the information or gather the necessary measurements,” Reeder said. “At GJ Eyebar, we provide the information needed and guide them through the entire process so they can take advantage of the savings without worrying if their classes will be done correctly. Glasses are delivered directly to the customers’ doorsteps and they can return at their own convenience for adjustments and repairs.
