New senior VP to oversee retail banking

Todd YoungFirst National Bank of the Rockies has promoted a manager to oversee retail banking operations in Western Colorado.

Todd Young has been named senior vice president of retail banking. In his new position, Young will oversee retail banking operations as well as bank managers at 10 locations throughout the region.

Young previously served as manager of the First National Bank of the Rockies office in Meeker.

Young joined First National Bank of the Rockies in 2004 as a vice president and commercial lender. He subsequently became manager of the bank’s office in Craig.

Young took a break from banking in 2007, but rejoined First National Bank of the Rockies in 2009 to manage the Meeker office.

Young began his banking career as  bank manager, commercial lender and marketing director for First Community Bank of East Tennessee.

He’s a 1988 graduate of Carson Newman College and a 2005 graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder Graduate School of Banking.

Established in 1904 as the First National Bank of Meeker, First National Bank of the Rockies serves Western Colorado with a total of 10 locations in Grand Junction as well as Craig, Hayden, Meeker, Oak Creek, Rangely and Steamboat Springs.
