Orthopaedic surgeon maintains national board certification
Dr. Mark Luker, an orthopaedic surgeon with Rocky Mountain Orthopaedic Associates based in Grand Junction, has been recertified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS).
The ABOS requires orthopaedic surgeons to maintain certification by completing 120 hours of continuing education, undergoing a peer review process and passing an examination. Luker scored in the top 4 percent of all those taking exams this year. Luker specializes in knee and shoulder surgery, arthroscopy and sports medicine.
