Pardon if we are staring

Annual survey of professional women in the Grand Valley once again yields an interesting field of women to keep an eye on.

The Business times is pleased to bring back a feature made popular in previous Women in Business sections: Women worth watching. We put out an email asking over 50 professional women in the Grand Valley their thoughts on women they feel are doing something new and exciting in business, the non-profit sector or in serving their communities in general. We were overwhelmed with responses and had a difficult time in cutting down the list to fit in the limited amount of space we had available in what has become our most popular special section each and every year!

The good news for this section in the coming years is that there will plenty of stories to cover as the number of women-owned businesses and the interest in this section only continues to grow in Mesa County. We are also that this trend will also help fill our inbox with suggestions as to just who the businesswomen’s world in Mesa County is keeping an eye on in making a difference in our community.

It is our sincere hope you read these profiles with the same energy, excitement and enjoyment as we had in selecting them for publication.
