Plastic surgery practice to host benefit fashion show
Canyon Creek Plastic Surgery in Fruita will host a benefit fashion show to raise money for a program assisting cancer survivors.
“I’m honored and excited to be part of the Survive Fashion Show,” said Dr. Rebecca Glasser, a plastic surgeon who runs Canyon Creek Plastic Surgery. “This event speaks directly to what I care about most and what makes my job so rewarding.”
The show is set for 6 p.m. Oct. 12 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, 743 Horizon Drive in Grand Junction. Proceeds will go to the St. Mary’s Hospital Cancer Survivorship Program, which promotes long-term health and quality of life for cancer survivors in Western Colorado. Cancer survivors will serve as models in the show.
Prior to opening her practice in the Grand Valley, Glasser was involved with a benefit fashion show in which her breast cancer patients served as models to raise money for an organization offering financial assistance to breast cancer patients.
