Property managers elected to board
Lindsay Jewell and Chris Thompson have been elected to the National Association of Residential Property Managers Western Colorado Chapter board as president-elect and treasurer and secretary, respectively.
Thompson also is a candidate to become a Certified Property Manager with the Institute of Real Estate Management.
Jewell works as a residential property manager with Bray Property Management in Rifle. Thompson works as a commercial property manager with Bray Property Management in Grand Junction.
NARPM promotes business ethics, fair housing practices and professionalism. The organization also offers continuing education to property managers.
“I’m excited to serve on our local NARPM board, which helps our members sustain the highest ethical practices and provides opportunities for support to all industries involved with the management of rentals,” Jewell said.
Thompson said he’s excited about earning certification from the Institute of Real Estate Management, a group that promotes improved management through education and information sharing and, in turn, improved returns on real estate investment. “IREM will provide me not only the knowledge and resources to do this, but also provide a community of like-minded managers who desire to be the best in their field.”
