Publishing firm expands with acquisition

Brass Frog Bookworks, a publishing and marketing company based in Grand Junction, has expanded its operation with the acquisition of a Montrose business.

Lifetime Chronicle Press and London Publishing will become new imprints for Brass Frog Bookworks. Moreover, the acquisition will offer London Publishing authors opportunities for distribution, marketing and promotion.

Brass Frog Bookworks also plans to add the imprints Still Pond Books and Tadpole Press in 2014.

Patti Hoff, co-owner and director of operations for Brass Frog Bookworks, acquired Lifetime Chronicle Press and London Publishing from Carole London, who plans to retire and travel. Before starting her own business, London worked for Western Reflections Publishing in Montrose. Hoff and London met while working with the Western Slope Chapter of the Colorado Independent Publisher Association.

Brass Frog Bookworks offers a range of editing, publishing, distribution and marketing services designed to help authors write, publish and sell their books. For more information, visit
