Real estate group assists flood victims

A donation from the Grand Junction Area Realtor Association will be used to extend financial assistance to flood victims in Colorado.

GJARA donated $5,000 to the Colorado Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors Relief Foundation to offer grants to flood victims. The grants can be used to help defray mortgage payments or the cost of temporary shelter.

“We’re thrilled to be able to make a difference and join our national association’s relief foundation and Colorado Association of Realtors to provide some financial support to victims across our state,” said Linda Todd Romer, chairwoman of GJARA.
