Record store marks 26 years in business

Triple Play Records in downtown Grand Junction plans to mark 26 years in business with an anniversary celebration that will include a sidewalk sale with discounted prices and disc jockeys playing records.

The event is set for May 9 to 11 at 530 Main St.

A sidewalk sale will offer cassette tapes for $1, vinyl records for $2 and compact discs for $3. The sale also will include $5 posters and a 25 percent off selected clothing.

“Our customers are what make our business, and we invite you to come down and celebrate 26 years of business,” said Rock Cesario, owner of Triple Play Records.
