Restaurants promote downtown dining

Fourteen restaurants in downtown Grand Junction will join in a week-long event promoting dining in the business district.

Downtown Restaurant Week is scheduled for March 19 to 25. Participating restaurants will provide food and drink specials as well as other offers. Alpine Bank has joined in the event as a sponsor.

Diners can pick up a Downtown Restaurant Week passport at any of the participating restaurants and earn stamps by ordering off the special menus — with a limit of one stamp per restaurant.

Diners who fill their passports with six stamps may enter a drawing for $50 gift certificates from the restaurants.

The participating restaurants will be: 626 on Rood, Bin 707 Foodbar, Blue Moon Bar and Grill, Cafe Sol, Dream Cafe, Goat & Clover Tavern, Il Bistro Italiano, Junct’n Square Pizza, Main Street Bagels, Main Street Cafe, Pablo’s Pizza, Rockslide, Tacoparty and the Winery.
