Sales of lottery products in Grand Junction produce $3.5 million in proceeds

Sales of lottery products in Grand Junction produced more than $3.5 million in proceeds during 2013, according to the latest numbers from the Colorado Lottery.

A portion of those proceeds came back to Grand Junction last year, including $400,000 to help pay for renovations to Suplizio Field and $250,000 to pay for improvements to Lincoln Park.

Over the past 31 years, the Colorado Lottery has provided funding for conservation, open spaces, parks, recreation and wildlife projects in the state, including more than $68 million in Mesa County.
