Television reporter nominated for writing award

Kelly Asmuth

Kelly Asmuth, a reporter with KKCO Television in Grand Junction, has been nominated for the Associated Press Television and Radio Association Mark Twain Award.

Asmuth was nominated for the award in the news writing category. The awards will be presented at a gala set for June 4 in Anaheim, Calf.

Asmuth joined the 11 News team at KKCO in April 2010 after working for News 12 Networks based in New Jersey and Long Island. She holds a master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in New York.
