Upcoming seminar to offer information about business expansion

An upcoming seminar will offer a range of information designed to help small business owners expand their operations.

The two-hour seminar is set for 7:30 a.m. Dec. 7 at Two Rivers Convention Center, 159 Main St. in Grand Junction. The event will include a continental breakfast followed by three panel presentations.

Time also will be allotted to answer questions and accommodate one-on-one discussions.

A coalition of banks, business groups, contractors and government entities have joined to present information about the resources and assistance available to small business owners considering expanding in Mesa County.

One panel presentation will feature representatives from the Business Incubator Center, City of Grand Junction Planning Department, Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce, Grand Junction Economic Partnership and Mesa County Workforce Center.

Subsequent panel presentations will feature representatives from the local banking and contracting industries.

For more information about the seminar, telephone the Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce at 242-3214.
