Veterinarians join in effort to neuter and spay pets

A group of Grand Valley veterinarians has joined with the Mesa County Animal Welfare Partnership in an effort to neuter and spay cats and dogs.

The Animal Assistance Foundation has provided funding for 500 $20 vouchers for neuter and spay procedures. Participating veterinarians have agreed to perform the procedures at a reduced rate.

The vouchers are available on a first-come, first-served basis and will remain valid through July 31.
