Vice president and commercial banker joins Grand Junction operation

Bill Rockwood has joined Vectra Bank Colorado as a vice president and commercial banker at the main Grand Junction branch at 2394 Patterson Road.

Rockwood brings to his latest position more than 20 years of experience in the banking industry, 10 of that in Grand Junction. He also brings to the job commercial banking experience in managing small- to middle-market business relationships.

“We believe Bill’s skills and talents are a great fit with our business philosophy and strategy of being a proactive bank that desires to help promote the economic vitality of our community,” said Carol Skubic, Grand Valley market president for Vectra Bank Colorado.

Rockwood is a retired Army reservist who completed 20 years of service as a combat engineer and retired as a major. He holds a degree from Colorado State University.
