Volunteers serve on MDS Foundation board

Thirteen people have volunteered to serve as directors of a newly formed foundation to raise money to support Mesa Developmental Services based in Grand Junction.

Bill Graham will serve as chairman of the MDS Foundation board. The other board members are: Betty Bechtel, Eula Boekle, Che Bou-Matar, Bernie Buescher, Rod Christ, Jeff Parker, Erle Reid, Jena Ruvolo, Monique Serra, Jamee Simons, Barbara Traylor Smith and Bill Vrettos.

MDS, a not-for-profit agency, provides a range of services to a total of 725 children and adults with developmental disabilities. The foundation was established to promote charitable giving to the organization. The initial goal of the foundation is to support services for children with developmental delays and disabilities and to assist their families.
