A benefit event has been scheduled for Oct. 4 to raise money for an organization that offers a range of services to people with developmental disabilities.

The annual Rollin’ on the River 3-kilometer walk and roll is set to start at 10 a.m. on the Riverfront Trail behind the Western Colorado Botanical Gardens, 641 Struthers Ave. The event will include lunch, music and other activities. Participants will receive t-shirts and bandannas.

Proceeds will go to Strive and its children’s programs and Audyssey autism program.
