“This is a KOA campground that was purpose-built to cater to the desires of the modern camper,” said owner Ray Nielsen. “We added a lot of beautiful features, but were careful to ensure that we preserved the experience of camping in our western environment.”

The campground is located off Interstate Highway 70 at Exit 97, 17 miles west of Glenwood Springs Situated at
629 River Frontage Road, the town of Silt is nearby, and the KOA serves as a base camp to explore Western Colorado and Utah.

The new welcome center includes a convenience store, lounge, games, television, library, laundry, showers and changing rooms for the swimming pool.
