Winery updates brand identity

Grande River Vineyards has unveiled a new logo, labels, signs and a Web site as part of efforts to update the brand identity of the Palisade winery.

Grande River Vineyards worked with RSW Partners, a Grand Junction-based marketing firm, to implement the changes.

“As one of Colorado’s oldest wineries, Grand River Vineyards built priceless equity in their brand for over 20 years. Our goal was to leverage that equity while moving the brand forward into a more modern and sophisticated look,” said Dan Ryan, creative director at RSW partners.

Only the fifth licensed winery in Colorado, Grande River Vineyards planted its first grapes in 1987 and bottled its first wines in 1990. Today, the winery produces 5,000 cases of wine a year.

Grande River Vineyards operates a winery and tasting room at 787 N. Elberta Ave. near Interstate Highway 70 exit 42.
