WPX Energy adds to community relations staff

Jeff Kirtland has joined the community relations staff at WPX Energy in Western Colorado.

Kirtland works out of the Parachute office, supporting public outreach activities in Garfield and Rio Blanco counties. He joins Susan Alvillar and Shereé Walcher on the staff.

Donna Gray remains with Williams as a community relations representative and supports its midstream gathering and processing business in Western Colorado.

Kirtland brings to his new duties eight years of experience with Mesa County School District 51, most recently as director of communications. He holds a degree in mass communication from Colorado Mesa University.

“We love to hire locally and to have such a respected, recognized person like Jeff on our team,” said Steve Soychak, manager of the Parachute district for WPX Energy.

WPX Energy was formed at the end of 2011 as a separate exploration and production unit of Williams. For more information, visit www.wpxenergy.com.
