Bank of Colorado has been honored as a leader among community banks for using social media as a part of its marketing and communications strategies.
Bank of Colorado is included among the Top 50 Community Bank Leaders in Social Media in an annual competition organized by the Independent Community Bankers of America.
“It’s an honor for us to be recognized by ICBA for our efforts on social media because we see it as a unique, essential and vital channel for communicating with our customers and community,” said Shawn Osthoff, president of Bank of Colorado. “Bank of Colorado’s digital presence has strengthened ties with our communities and customers.”
More than 6,000 community banks were eligible for the recognition. Nearly 300 banks were nominated to make the list. Winners were selected on the basis of their engagement with followers, the content distributed on social media platforms and frequency with which they posted new content.
A part of Pinnacle Bancorp, Bank of Colorado operates 40 community banks throughout the state with combined assets of more than $2.9 billion. For more information, visit www.bankofcolorado.com.
