Steven Anderson, manager of the Uncompahgre Valley Water Users Association based in Montrose, has been reappointed to the Colorado Water Conservation Board.

Anderson will serve a three-year term on the board as a representative of the Gunnison and Uncompahgre rivers drainage basin and a Republican. 

The board is responsible for water project planning and financing, conservation, drought planning and other activities related to water development and protection.
