American National Bank earns top marks from rating firm

American National Bank has once again earned the highest rating possible from a national bank rating firm.

American National Bank earned the Blue Ribbon Bank designation from Veribanc for the first quarter of 2011.

“We are happy to be recognized again by outside financial analysts, especially in these challenging economic times,” said Vance Wagner, regional president of American National Bank. “As a large, independent bank, receiving an award like this demonstrates our commitment to our customers, shareholders and our community in maintaining our financial strength.”

American National Bank received the highest rating possible for asset quality, capital strength, earnings, liquidity, management and sensitivity to market risk. The bank also satisfied additional safety related criteria.

A member of the Sturm Financial Group, American National Bank operates a total of 37 locations in Colorado and Wyoming, 15 in Western Colorado. For more information, log on to the Web site at www.anbbank.com.
