Animal hospital manager earns certification

Susan Kingsbury

Susan Kingsbury has earned designation from the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA) as a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager. Kingsbury works at the Tiara Rado Animal Hospital in Grand Junction.

“This certification adds even more value to our already highly qualified staff,” said Bob Marquis, a veterinarian who owns Tiara Rado Animal Hospital. “We’re proud to have Susan leading our team.”

The VHMA — a professional association of hospital managers, veterinarians, technicians and consultants — offers certification to managers who have the knowledge and experience to run veterinary practices.

Located at 2245 3/4 Broadway, Tiara Rado Animal Hospital offers a full range of diagnostic and surgical services. In addition to Marquis, three other veterinarians offer services there: Frank Coons, Julie Becker and Thad Respet.
