“Off the Shelf,” a series of weekly events featuring local authors, will continue through July at Crystal Books & Gifts. The events start at 6 p.m. at the store, 439 Main St. in downtown Grand Junction.

On July 16, the event will feature Judy Harrington, author of “The Gift,” and Janice Lawson, author of “Kuya Kai” and “Poems to See Me Through.”

On July 23, the event will feature Sherry Ficklin, author of “Queen of Someday” and “Queen of Tomorrow” in the Stolen Empire series, and Shay West, author of “Dangerous Reflections,” “Twisted Reflections” and “Desperate Reflections” in the Alexis Davenport series.

On July 30, the event will feature Jeff Dershem, author of “Planets to Pulsars: A Citizen’s Guide to the Universe,” and Phyllis Moorman, author of “Power of a Raindrop.”
