Bank expands mobile services with Droid application

First National Bank of the Rockies has introduced a banking application for Android smart phones to complement its iPhone app and other online banking capabilities.

“Our customers wanted better mobile connectivity, and the Droid app opens up mobile banking to a larger audience,” said Pete Waller, chairman and chief executive officer of First National Bank of the Rockies.

Customers who use online banking at First National Bank of the Rockies can sign up for mobile services at www.fnbrockies.com. Mobile banking customers can download the Droid app by searching for “FNBR Mobile” in the Android market.

Headquartered in Grand Junction, First National Bank of the Rockies operates locations in seven Western Colorado communities.
