Bank promoting good savings habits

ANB Bank will participate in a national program to promote good savings habits.

ANB Bank hopes to open 100 savings accounts as part of America Saves Week, scheduled for Feb. 19 to 26. The program was launched in 2001 to use a social marketing approach to encourage savings.

ANB Bank encourages young children to save by offering minor savings accounts with no minimum balance requirement or monthly service charge. The bank also contributes the first $10 to minor savings accounts.

ANB Bank encourages adults to save by offering not only regular savings accounts, but also automatic transfers to savings accounts with no fees and direct deposits to savings accounts, health savings accounts and individual retirement accounts.

A member of the Sturm Financial Group, ANB Bank operates a total of 32 locations in Colorado and Wyoming. For more information, log on to www.ANBBank.com.
