Consulting firm breaks ground on new building

An environmental consulting and waste management services company has broken ground on the construction of a new and larger building in Grand Junction.

HRL Compliance Services will move into an 8,000 square-foot building at 2385 F 1/2 Road. HCSI now leases about 3,000 square-feet of office space off Horizon Drive.

Founded in 2002, HCSI offers a range of services that help clients reduce financial, legal and operational risks. Those services include environmental consulting, permitting, site assessment and remediation and waste management. The company serves the oil and gas industry as well as manufacturing and processing industries and government entities across the United States.

The firm employs a total of 37 people in Colorado and Pennsylvania, many of them graduates of Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction.
