The Grand Valley Foot and Ankle Center has scheduled a free clinic for Oct. 28 at its facility at 2478 Patterson Road, Suite 1, in Grand Junction.

The clinic is set for 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will offer screenings and exams to nonestablished patients. Appointments will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. For an appointment or more information, call 245-3338.

“It’s unfortunate, but all too often people just suffer through pain in their feet and ankles instead of seeking out care. Oftentimes, that nagging pain can be managed or eliminated with fairly simple treatments,” said Joseph Dahlin, a podiatrist and surgeon who will conduct the clinic.

Charles Daniel, owner of Grand Valley Foot and Ankle Center, said the free clinic offers a way for the center to give back to the community while also acquainting people with the practice. “It’s a great way for people to see our facility, meet our doctors and get some free medical advice to determine the next step in their care,” Daniel said.

Grand Valley Foot and Ankle Center offers a range of services. “We have state-of-the-art technology to help diagnose and treat foot and ankle disorders,” Daniel said. “We have our own in-office X-ray department, 3-D orthotic scanner and designated laser therapy.”
