Applications are being accepted for a free course offering an inside look at the Mesa County government.

The next Inside Mesa County course is set for 5:30 to 8 p.m. Mondays March 14 to May 9 at the Mesa County Workforce Center, 512 29 1/2 Road in Grand Junction. The course also will include noon hour tours of county facilities, including the county jail.

Elected officials and department leaders will present information about various functions of the Mesa County government.

A fall session of the course also is planned.
