Security firm opens Grand Junction office
A Western Colorado company that offers a range of security services has expanded by opening an office in Grand Junction.
Citadel Security and Investigations also expects to eventually increase staffing.
Citadel Security and Investigations has opened an office at 2472 Patterson Road, Suite 13.
The office accommodates growing demand for patrols and other services for Grand Valley clients, said Brent Jagger, vice president and co-founder of the firm.
Jagger and Justin and Rebecca Hale established the firm in 2006. Jagger and Justin Hale, both Army veterans, brought to the venture a combined 30 years of experience in security, personal protection, investigations, loss control and military operations. Rebecca Hale brought to the business 15 years of management experience ranging from small, franchised corporations to large, Fortune 500 companies.
Citadel Security and Investigations is headquartered in Rifle, but also operates offices in Denver and Edwards.
The firm employs a total of more than 70 part- and full-time employees.
In addition to patrol services, events security and investigations, Citadel Security will offer training programs at its Grand Junction office.
“New space will allow us to expand our training programs from just our officers to the public,” Jagger said. “The training programs requested would include self-defense classes, concealed handgun permit classes, first aid classes and safety training for (Occupational Safety & Health Administration) 10 and 20 cards.”
