Three join wine trade group board

Three Western Colorado businesspeople have joined the board of directors for the Colorado Association of Viticulture and Enology.

Bruce Talbott of Talbott’s Mountain Gold and Brooke Webb of Mesa Park Vineyards, both in Palisade, were elected to the board of the trade association of grape growers and wineries. So was Guy Drew of Guy Drew Vineyards in Cortez.

The three new directors join six existing members on the board, four of them from Palisade.

The Colorado Association of Viticulture and Enology promotes the interest of grape growers and wineries and the advancement of the winery industry in the state. The group also hosts Colorado Winefest Denver, scheduled for June 12, and the Colorado Mountain Winefest, scheduled for Sept. 13 to 16 in the Grand Valley.
