TV, internet and phone services rebranded following acquisition

Newly branded Optimum cable television, Internet and telephone services are now available in Grand Junction. The announcement follows the acquisition by Cablevision of Bresnan Communications.

“Consumers have never seen anything like the advanced technology and competitive prices we are offering for cable, high-speed Internet and voice services,” said John Trierweiler, executive vice president of product management for Cablevision.

Optimum TV offers more than 100 channels, including local broadcast stations, as well as thousands of On Demand movies and shows. Optimum Online offers Internet access speeds up to 10 times faster than digital subscriber line service. Optimum Voice offers unlimited local and long-distance calling as well as such features as caller identification, call forwarding and directory assistance. Customers who subscribe to all three services receive a discounted rate of $89.95 a month for the first year as well as an Optimum Rewards program that offers discounts on shopping, dining and events.

Bresnan-branded services are no longer available to new customers. Existing Bresnan customers continue to receive their current levels of services.
