Fifteen people have completed classes and field trips conducted as part of the annual Mesa County Leadership Program.
The latest graduates of the program are: Crystal Bell, U.S. Bank; Gail Bower, Partners; Barbara Ciperano, ANB Bank; John Hall, Grand Junction Fire Department; Stuart Hall, Olsson Associates; Nathan Knoll, Alpine Bank; Adam Korte, Holiday Inn and Suites; Kim Last, Financial West Group; Matt Lemon and Jeremy Lyon, Ute Water Conservancy District; Mark Litzen, FCI Constructors; Victoria Patsantaras, Mesa County; Andrew Teske, Hosken, Farina and Kampf; Monika Tuell, Rocky Mountain Health Plans; and Angela Wickersham, Hilltop Community Resources.
The program, sponsored by the Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce, is designed to develop community leaders from the business sector. Participants not only learn leadership skills, but also attend classes and field trips covering such topics as the economy, education, energy, government, health care, planning and development and water.
