Barnes & Noble plans author event

Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Grand Junction has scheduled an event featuring eight local authors.

The event is set for 2 to 4 p.m. June 6 at the store, located at 2451 Patterson Road, and will offer participants a chance to meet the authors and purchase autographed copies of their books.

The event will feature Rebecca and Stephen Anthony, authors of “Waiting for God for his Good Gifts of Marriage and Sex;” Susan Blackstock, author of “The Colors of Your Dreams,” Craig M. Droskin, author of “27 Gauge Long Shaft;” Shirley Ewing, author of “Spiritual Adultery and the Passionate Love of God;” Walter H. Martin-El, author of “Sentenced But Not Silenced,” Robert Ira Riddle, author of “Paradox Bob’s Praddlings;” and Robin L. Stevens, author of “Just an Everyday Woman.”
