A six-day intensive cohort for newer and seasoned nonprofit-organization executives is coming to Grand Junction.
“Executive Director Accelerator” will begin Sept. 23 at the Gem and Mineral Club, 2328 Monument Road in Grand Junction. The six full-day sessions will take place Wednesday-Friday, September 23-25 and October 14-16. The cost is $750 and includes materials, lunches and snacks.
The training will be provided by Third Sector Innovations, a nonprofit consulting and support firm based in Grand Junction. For more than 30 years, the firm has helped nonprofits grow organizational capacity and sustainability.
Attendees will hear from Third Sector staff and some of the region’s leading nonprofit executives during interactive, all-day sessions designed to give them the knowledge and confidence to run an effective nonprofit organization. Participants will receive practical tools such as:
- Insight into resource development and communications.
- Guidance on how to achieve financial and operational clarity.
- Organizational leadership and team strengthening skills.
- Building a cohort network through connections with peers and veteran nonprofit leaders across the region.
