Weekly presentations featuring local authors are scheduled to resume at Crystal Books and Gifts in downtown Grand Junction.

The  Off the Shelf event set for 6 p.m. June 22 will feature Judith Blevins and Carroll Multz, co-authors of “Blue,” “One Frightful Day,” “Operation Cat Tale,” “The Plagiarist” and “Rogue Justice.” Blevins and Multz have written a total of 14 adult and eight young adult novels as well as seven non-fiction books.

The series, which runs 6 to 7 p.m. Thursdays through Sept. 21, offers local and regional authors an opportunity to gain exposure, promote their books and meet readers. Openings are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
