Hospital specialist earns infection control designation

Jenny Cisneros, an infection prevention specialist at Community Hospital in Grand Junction, has received the Certified in Infection Control designation.

The Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology confers the designation to professionals who’ve demonstrated a mastery of infection prevention and control by passing a comprehensive examination. The designation is maintained through a recertification exam every five years.
