Soup offers specialists to mark 25th anniversary

Zoup will offer discounts on its soups and sandwiches as part of a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the founding of the fast casual restaurant chain.

“We wouldn’t be where we are today without the continued loyalty of our customers. This celebration is all about expressing our gratitude for their ongoing support,” said Eric Ersher, founder and chief executive officer of Zoup.

A throwback Thursday event is set for May 31 in selling bowls of soup for $5.95. On June 1, half sandwiches will sell for 98 cents with a soup purchase. June 2 will be family day with free kids meals with any purchase of an adult entree.

In addition, Zoup will introduce an addition to its menu in power bowls in three varieties: fiesta chicken, kale chicken and lemon feta garbanzo. Each bowl features kale and 20 grams of protein.

Founded in 1998, Zoup has grown to a total of 100 locations in the United States and Canada. In Grand Junction, Zoup is located at 644 North Ave. For more information, log on to www.zoup.com.
