Vicki Goetter has joined Dalby, Wendland & Co. as chief operating officer of the Grand Junction-based accounting and business consulting firm.

Four other members of the staff have been promoted to new positions.

Goetter brings to her new duties 20 years of experience in the public accounting and consulting industry in the New York and New Jersey area. She has another 10 years of experience in private business in the United States and the United Kingdom. She holds accreditation as a Public Accounting Firm Manager.

She’s a past president and vice president of the New Jersey chapter of the CPA Firm Management Association and belongs to the Society for Human Resource Management.

She attended Stockton University.

Sarah Fischer was promoted to associate principal. She joined the firm in 2001 and specializes in tax planning and preparation services for businesses and individuals. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Colorado State University.

Lisa Thon-Kollar also was promoted to associate principal. She joined the firm in 2006 and specializes in tax planning for businesses, trusts and estates. She holds bachelor’s degrees from Western State Colorado University and Colorado Mesa University.

Brian Hollingsworth was promoted to audit manager. He joined the firm in 2013 and provides auditing and accounting services to a variety of clients in a range of industries. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Loren Hofer was promoted to tax supervisor. She joined the firm in 2013 and works with clients in various industries, including businesses that need advisory services to promote growth. She holds bachelor’s degrees in accounting and computer information systems from Colorado Mesa University.
