Entries will be accepted through July 20 for a sweepstakes that will award round-trip airplane tickets to 21 Western Colorado graduates.

Avelo Airlines launched the Grads-on-the-Go sweepstakes. Grads 18  or older who live within 150 miles of Grand Junction are eligible to participate. That includes those who graduated in 2021 from high schools, trade schools, colleges and universities.

“We are inspired by the perseverance of the Class of 2021, and we can’t imagine a better graduation gift than to help them fuel their inspiration to travel and explore new places,” said Andrew Levy, founder, chief executive officer and chairman of Avelo.

Winners will receive two round-trip tickets on Avelo. The airline plans to award a total of 500 tickets across the 12 communities it serves in the Western United States. Avelo offers nonstop service between  Grand Junction Regional Airport and Hollywood Burbank Airport.

Grads can enter the sweepstakes at aveloair.com/grads. They can earn a second entry by posting a photo or video related to their graduation on Twitter or Instagram with the tags @Avelo, #GradsOnTheGo or #AveloGradSweepstakes. 

Winners will be selected at random by Aug. 17. Travel must be completed by Dec. 31.
