Timberline Bank has scheduled free public events at its Grand Junction and Montrose locations to celebrate homecoming at Colorado Mesa University.
“We are excited to be the CMU homecoming sponsor not only for 2022, but for the next three years. CMU plays such an important role in our community. We are proud to play a small part in celebrating our local university and to do what we can to keep our local talent local.” said Louise Goodman, president of the Timberline Bank branch in Grand Junction.
A taco tailgate event is set for 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 19 at the Montrose branch at 1561 Oxbow Drive.
A Mav mixer is set for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 21 at the Grand Junction branch at 649 Market St.
Both events will feature free food, games, student organization performances and more.
Timberline Bank will be featured in the Alumni Zone at the CMU homecoming football game set for Oct. 29.
In addition to its homecoming sponsorship, Timberline Bank supports CMU in other ways. In 2022, the bank has sponsored Future Business Leaders of America, the rodeo team and athletic teams. The bank is a founding member of the student business closet.
