The Mesa County Commission reappointed Home Loan State Bank President Craig Springer to serve a three-year term as representative at large on the Mesa County Federal Mineral Lease District .

The district oversees the distribution of federal mineral leasing funds to local public entities by providing financial support to serve the infrastructure, construction and public-service needs of Mesa County.

Springer joins Mesa County Commissioner Bobbie Daniel and Quint Shear of Shear Inc. on the board.

The mineral lease district’s meetings are open to the public, and public comments are welcome. The next meeting is scheduled for April 16, 2 p.m., at the Home Loan Building, 205 N. 4th St. in Grand Junction. For more information, visit website www.mesafml.org.
