Spring Fling Festival May 24 at Cross Orchards

The Spring Fling Festival will take place May 24, 4 to 8 p.m. at Cross Orchards Historic Site, 3073 F Road.

FCI Constructors Inc. is the title sponsor of the event, which will have local food vendors, such as Nebula 1 and Armandos Tacos, and Fisher’s Liquor Barn will host a bar. Live music will be played by Rodney Hayden, 4 to 6 p.m., followed by Straygrass from 6 to 8 p.m.

There will be plant sales, local crafts and demonstrations showcasing aspects of orchard life. Kids can take a ride on the ride-on train, a fire truck and a Model T.

Admission is $9 for adults, $8 for veterans or seniors age 60 and older; and $7 for children ages 3 to 15. For more information, visit the website, mowc.co.
